Off With Her Head!

This project has a history focus where pupils will learn about life during the Tudor period - the good, the bad and the disgusting!  They will have to analyse information researched to form opinions about particular major events of the time, write newspaper reports and arguments and hold a debate.

Please continue to ensure that you monitor and sign your child's homework in their green homework book.  Please ask your child if they have completed the task and given it 100% effort?

For your information, writing should be accurately punctuated with full stops, capital letters, question marks, commas to separate clauses and, when necessary, speech marks should be used to denote direct speech. The handwriting style should be joined and lower case letters should be uniform in size.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to speak to me.

Designing a Bridge to a Budget ... Could it support 400g?

On Monday we celebrated Roald Dahl's 99th Birthday with the rest of the school and had so much fun.  We dressed as our favourite character, took part in special activities during  literacy lessons, learned facts about the amazing man himself in a special assembly, took part in shared reading activities with younger pupils in the school and listened to our teacher reading her absolute favourite extract from her favourite Roald Dahl book!  We had a great day!

Roald Dahl celebrations

This week, pupils have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with the welsh artist Rhiannon Roberts to produce some stunning new artwork which will be displayed in school.  We are so proud of our work and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with such a talented and lovely lady!
